Lesley Valentine is a licensed acupuncturist in private practice since 2000. She practices a unique style of Japanese acupuncture called Kiiko Matsumoto Style (KMS). 

Lesley completed her Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. In her first term of school, she experienced a treatment by Kiiko Matsumoto that shaped her thinking and practice. It led her to eventually study this style of acupuncture with Kiiko Matsumoto and her chosen instructors.

This style is interactive, practical and effective. A patient doesn’t need to believe in acupuncture-they can feel it working during the treatment. As a rule, with KMS style of acupuncture, needling is virtually painless, using small gauge needles. The treatment focuses on the root cause, encompassing the whole body rather than single symptoms. This is often experienced as a deep and long-lasting treatment.

Lesley is also gifted as an herbal practitioner, with a focus on traditional Chinese herbal formulas.
